On Thursday, January 10th, 2007 Author Dr.Susan Wicklund will be appearing at the Bookhouse, Stuyvesant Plaza, Albany, New York, from 5 pm - 7 pm.
Dr. Wicklund is determined to give women better reproductive health care. Her work began as an apprentice midwife and eventually she finished college, earning a medical degree. She spends 90 percent of her time on abortion services. Her work is centered around under-served regions in the United States in the Western plains. She visits clinics by airplane.
Dr. Wicklund will be available for comments and will do a book signing. Her new book is titled This Common Secret: My Journey as an Abortion Doctor.
The National Organization for Women-New York State is pleased to host Dr. Wicklund. A wine and cheese reception will be held for Dr. Wicklund.
